On this page, we will discuss how to plant the different types of plants we grow in Haverford's Garden.

Potatoes:
- In this Youtube video, you can see our friend Doug Smiddy digging the initial potato trench and covering the seed potatoes up.
- Once the potato plants are growing well (a few weeks), you will want to continuously cover their lower stalk with dirt, which allows more tubers to grow from the covered stem. By pulling dirt from the surrounding trenches and mounding it up on the stem, you can easily accomplish this task.
